Just a small amount of sulphites: 70 mg/lt

Type: Structured Red.

Blend of grapes: 65% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, 15% Sagrantino.

System of growing: Spurred Cordon. 15 years old vines.

Vine density: 6.000 vines per hectare.

Yield per hectare: 60 hl/HA (8 tons).

Type of soil: Clay. South-East and South-West exposition.

Harvest: Hand picked at the end of Sept first of Oct.

Production policies: 15 days fermentation 15 days maceration. Staying 6 months on light lees. Batonage. Aging: 12 months in French oak tonneaux.

Bouquet: Firm yet fresh core of wild berries. Viola. Hints of spicies. Taste: Great structure and optimal tannin.

Combinations: First courses with meat sauces. Roast or grilled red meats. Seasoned cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C (60-65 °F).
