At the Estate, Andrea Formilli Fendi can reminisce his childhood memories. His mother Franca created a home where children and grandchildren could all gather for special occasions. After his father Luigi passed away, Andrea decided to define a new destiny for the Tenuta Le Corgne and personally took over the management of the Estate with the ambition to produce high quality wines.
Located at 650 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Umbrian-Marche Appenine mountains, Tenuta Le Corgne lies on the outskirts of Valfabbricca between Assisi and Gubbio. The Estate consists of 35 hectares of land, 24 hectares of which are woodland and 11 hectares are vineyards. The recluse and remote area is situated away from the notorious wine areas of the region and benefits from a particular microclimate; the terroir possesses a precious range of untouched pristine scents that add elegance, style and personality to the wines produced.
