Vernaccia di Cannara DOC Colle di Rocco is a raisin wine with ancient roots, produced from Cornetta grapes, a rare native black berry variety rich in tannins. After a period of three months of drying on traditional “camorcanne”
Suggested pairings: traditionally accompanies the typical Umbrian Easter cheese cake with fresh cold cuts; it is remarkable with aged cheeses, dry pastries, panettone, Easter dove, ice cream, nougat and spoon desserts. It is unforgettable when paired with traditional Umbrian regional desserts and surprising with chocolate.
Serving temperature: can be served chilled at 10° C. but if preferred at a room temperature of 20° C.

Vernaccia di Cannara Colle di Rocco is an ancient passito wine, produced with Cornetta grapes, a rare and tannic indigenous black grape variety. This historic property houses a captivating cellar beneath its grounds, untouched and perfectly preserved for over two centuries.
The winery takes its name from Marco Monchiero and Lucia Carbone, the parents of Francesco Monchiero, who began the winemaking venture using vineyards inherited from both sides of the family. The roots of their winemaking tradition, however, run deep, tracing back through generations of dedicated grape growers from both families.
