Cellar: Adanti
Adanti is one of the historic wineries of the Montefalco area in Umbria, famous for the production of protected wines, such as Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso. Leggi di più
Our farm covers about 40 hectares of land, 30 of which vineyards and 10 olive groves, located in the hilly areas of Arquata and Colcimino, famous since ancient times for the high quality of oil and wine.
The company was founded in the 60s of the last centuries, from the intuition of Domenico Adanti, who decided to buy the villa of Arquata in order to create a modern winery aiming at a production of high-quality wine. Thus began the renovation of the old convent of the Celestine Friars, built on the remains of the Roman period and then of the late Renaissance, while carrying out the replanting of the old vineyards and the planting of new ones.
