With the first sip, you will notice a vertical entry, lively and fresh, but also warm and enveloping. The tannic structure is harmonious and sinuous, giving a pleasant finish with good acidity that invites a second glass.
Suggested pairings: this is a versatile wine that pairs well especially with red meat, game and venison, grilled meats, but also does not disdain cured meats and aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

Montefalco Rosso CAMPOdeSOPRE, with its Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) designation, is an Umbrian wine that presents itself with a very bright, brilliant and cheerful red-purple color, announcing its youth and vivacity. The bouquet is lively and immediate, dominated by berries, particularly blueberries and raspberries, with a hint of freshly picked cherries. This historic property houses a captivating cellar beneath its grounds, untouched and perfectly preserved for over two centuries.
The winery takes its name from Marco Monchiero and Lucia Carbone, the parents of Francesco Monchiero, who began the winemaking venture using vineyards inherited from both sides of the family. The roots of their winemaking tradition, however, run deep, tracing back through generations of dedicated grape growers from both families.
