Vinification:
The “Remigrante” Montefalco Riserva Tenute Baldo is crafted primarily from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, along with other indigenous red grape varieties. It originates from the Montefalco region, renowned for its prestigious winemaking traditions. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand to ensure utmost quality. Vinification takes place at controlled temperatures, with spontaneous fermentation and a 20-day maceration period. The subsequent malolactic fermentation occurs in French oak barriques.
Following vinification, the “Remigrante” Montefalco Riserva Tenute Baldo undergoes an 18-month refinement process in French oak barriques, gaining further complexity and structure. Finally, it is refined in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for approximately 6 months. The wine is sealed with a high-quality one-piece cork, chosen to harmonize the wine during bottle aging. Each bottle is labeled with a unique number, making every bottle of “Remigrante” a special and limited edition.
The “Remigrante” Montefalco Riserva Tenute Baldo is classified as D.O.C. – Riserva and has an alcohol content ranging from 14.5% to 15% by volume.
