A Pinot Noir That Moves You
Classified as Rosso Umbria I.G.T. Pinot Nero, Ciménto Pinot Nero Palerna pours into the glass with a delicate light ruby red color, enriched by amethyst reflections that hint at its elegance.
The nose reveals complex and refined aromas: ripe strawberry, cherry, and raspberry, followed by subtle violet floral notes and a delicate touch of licorice spice.

Aging & Winemaking

The Palerna Estate covers 80 hectares, with 8 hectares of vineyards planted at elevations between 550 and 600 meters above sea level. The vineyards face southwest, an ideal position that ensures excellent sun exposure while maintaining a cool, high-altitude climate. The result? Aromatic grapes with great complexity and finesse.
Grape Varieties and Cultivation
La Plèrna is dedicated to growing Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard practices are rooted in quality over quantity, with low yields per vine, hand-harvesting in small crates, and a careful selection of grapes on a sorting table.
