Carefully made using Sagrantino, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Hand-picked in crates in early October, each variety is fermented separately at a controlled temperature for 20 days. Deep red with violet hues, boasting notes of blackberry jam, red fruits under spirits and balsamic undertones. Soft tannins add exquisite flavor.
Recommended pairings: grilled meats, semi-hard cheeses and game

This historic property houses a captivating cellar beneath its grounds, untouched and perfectly preserved for over two centuries.

The winery takes its name from Marco Monchiero and Lucia Carbone, the parents of Francesco Monchiero, who began the winemaking venture using vineyards inherited from both sides of the family. The roots of their winemaking tradition, however, run deep, tracing back through generations of dedicated grape growers from both families.
