Box Sagrantino CAMPOdeSOPRE is a wine of great persistence and prodigious strength of the blackberry. It is made from Sagrantino grapes. The production area is Montefalco, a territory rich in prestigious winemaking tradition. The grapes are carefully selected, subjected to double sorting, and hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with spontaneous fermentation and separation of the grape skins. This is followed by a 30-day maceration with submerged cap, and malolactic fermentation occurs in steel tanks.

Aging:

After vinification, Montefalco Sagrantino CAMPOdeSOPRE ages for the first part of its aging process for 18 months in large 40 hl French oak barrels. Subsequently, for a second phase, the wine ages for 6 months in French oak barriques. Finally, the final aging takes place in steel tanks on fine lees for approximately 12 months. The cork used is a one-piece cork, chosen to harmonize the wine during bottle aging.
