Arquata Umbria Red – Adanti
Arquata Red Umbria Adanti is a red wine of international character, with a blend of grapes composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Barbera. The grapes come from three vineyard parcels located in the municipality of Bevagna (Pg), in the Arquata area, at an altitude of 230 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soil. This historic property houses a captivating cellar beneath its grounds, untouched and perfectly preserved for over two centuries.
The winery takes its name from Marco Monchiero and Lucia Carbone, the parents of Francesco Monchiero, who began the winemaking venture using vineyards inherited from both sides of the family. The roots of their winemaking tradition, however, run deep, tracing back through generations of dedicated grape growers from both families.
