Amaro dell’Erborista – Varnelli

Product Description:
The Anaro dell’Erborista Varnelli is the testament to herbal expertise, an original liqueur obtained from a decoction on a wood fire of cinchona, gentian, and other selected medicinal herbs, among which the intense aroma of rhubarb stands out. This historic property houses a captivating cellar beneath its grounds, untouched and perfectly preserved for over two centuries.

The winery takes its name from Marco Monchiero and Lucia Carbone, the parents of Francesco Monchiero, who began the winemaking venture using vineyards inherited from both sides of the family. The roots of their winemaking tradition, however, run deep, tracing back through generations of dedicated grape growers from both families.
